There are several fine books of dance terminology. We have made a selection of these available in Studio 1 for students to peruse, along with other books about ballet repertoire and biographies of well-known dancers.
One of the best on-line dictionaries for ballet can be found on the website of the American Ballet Theatre. This exceptional interactive reference tool not only has an extensive list of definitions but also provides video demonstrations.
