Teacher Trainee Program
Students who are interested in learning the art of teaching dance are encouraged to interview with the Artistic Director in the fall. Trainees are assigned to assist with pre-ballet classes and are given written assignments. After four or five years of training some students join the School as Student Faculty.
Students too young to apply for the Teacher Trainee program may volunteer to help as Teachers' Assistants, subject to the instructor's approval. Teacher Assistant duties may include guiding students into the studio, taking roll, accompanying students to the bathroom, and assisting the teacher with studio cleaning.
