Celebrate
Dance on May 29 with Level 41
Join us for a very special evening
this spring when HPSD will present Level 41,
a gala benefit honoring artistic director August Tye. Level
41 is a 20-year retrospective of works choreographed by Tye
and will feature guest dancers and musicians, as well as our own
Tygo Next Generation youth company and our company in residence,
Tyego Dance Project. The performance will be held at the Ruth
Page Center for the Arts, followed by a reception and silent auction
at the elegant Newberry Library. Mark your calendar now and check

Spring
Concert
The annual Spring Concert is a lively end-of-year event which includes
performances by all classes. This year the performance will be held
on Saturday, May 10 at 4:00pm at Kenwood Academy Auditorium.

The
Nutcracker
The Hyde Park School of Dance presents a family-friendly production
of The Nutcracker each December. A south side favorite,
the show features 100 of the School’s students, guest artists,
and a Pre Ballet Holiday Dance with some of our youngest students.
Le Printemps
Sauvage
This special production featured our original one-act ballet for
children, Wild Things, as well as new works by HPSD faculty,
and selected student choreography.
