Class and Rehearsal Schedule

Classes are offered in two 16-week sessions, with an additional shorter program offered during the summer months. Each year begins in September and runs through January (Session I). Session II begins at the end of January and finishes in May.

During the summer, HPSD offers two four-week sessions of classes in June and July. For more information, please, refer to the Summer Program.

Between sessions and during holiday breaks, HPSD offers Interim Classes for students in Ballet Levels III-VI. Specific dates and times vary and are posted on the bulletin board outside of Studio One.

Fall 2008

Session I of the 2008-09 year will begin on September 8 and run through January 17. Please refer to the Fall Class Schedule for specific class offerings.

Summer Session 2008

Summer classes will begin on June 3 and run through August 2. We are currently accepting registrations. Information about the class schedule and summer tuition can be found on the Summer Program page.

Please note that some classes are already closed due to high enrollment:

Creative Movement on Saturday at 8:30 AND at 10:30 (Session II)
Pre-Ballet I on Saturday at 9:00 AND on Wednesday at 4:15 (Session II)

Rehearsal Schedules

The performance workshop for the 2008 Nutcracker will begin October 10. The Pre Ballet Holiday Show performance workshop will begin in November.
